3. Diagnostics

Some repairs require diagnostic testing before a quotation can be provided.

Diagnostic fees, where applicable, will be communicated before work begins.

If you choose not to proceed after diagnostics, your device will be returned in its current condition.

4. Quotations

All quotations are provided without obligation.

Prices are based on the information available at the time.

If additional faults are discovered during repair, we will contact you before carrying out further work.

5. Payment

Customers are strongly advised to create a complete backup before any repair work.

Computer247 accepts no liability for data loss resulting from:

9. Data Recovery

Data recovery is performed on a best-effort basis.

Due to the nature of damaged storage devices, successful recovery cannot be guaranteed.

Charges may still apply even where only partial recovery is achieved.

10. Collection of Devices

Completed repairs should be collected within 30 days unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Computer247 reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees for devices left beyond this period.

Devices not collected after a prolonged period may be disposed of in accordance with applicable UK legislation after reasonable attempts to contact the owner.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Remove passwords where possible or provide temporary access if required.
  • Backup important data.
  • Inform us of existing faults.
  • Collect repaired equipment promptly.
